1) Patient Registration

You must register with us before we can treat you. You can register with us over the telephone when you call us to book your first appointment.

Please refer our privacy policy to check how we secure the information we collect.

2) Arriving for your appointment

Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time if you are attending for the first time. When you arrive, please report to reception. You will be directed to waiting area where your physiotherapists will meet you for your appointment.

Our physiotherapists are highly qualified in working alongside with your needs at every step right from goal setting to reach the best outcome of your problems.

3) Initial Assessment

Your initial session will last up to 45 minutes depending on your problems.You may be asked to fill in a Consent form for future reference. The physiotherapists then takes time to listen to your story and give you a thorough examination to identify the root cause of the problem. Upon identifying the cause of the problem, our physiotherapist will explain it to you and help you with decision making. Our physiotherapist then will set up a treatment plan with you to correct the problem. You will have treatment started on your first visit so you could start your journey towards recovery.

After your initial session, your physiotherapist may recommend you to have follow-up treatment sessions (if required). Follow- up treatment sessions may vary dependent on the nature of your condition. All treatment plans are tailored to individual needs aimed at relieving symptoms and improving function.

Please remember to bring/wear appropriate clothing so that the physiotherapist can assess and treat the affected area.

4) Payment

We accept either card, cash or BACs payments.

If you have registered your payment through your private health insurance, we would raise an invoice to your insurance company after every treatment session. To raise the invoice please ensure that you have registered with us with updated information such as;

  • Name of the insurer
  • Policy Number (if required)
  • Treatment limitations
  • Any authorisation code
  • If these information is not available, you will be required to pay for your treatments until it is made available. If your insurance company does not settle your claim within 30 days of your appointment or there is a shortfall, you will be responsible to settle the account directly.

    5) Cancellation Policy

    At Relive Physiotherapy, we are committed to deliver the best quality of care while striving for continuous improvement. Please try to keep up with your appointment to reach your goals. If you want to amend or cancel your appointment, please provide us with at least 24hours' notice to do so. Late cancellations or appointments not attended without any warning may subject to £20 administration fee.

    6) Chaperone Policy

    Please feel free to bring in your family member or friend during the examination for chaperone service and let your practitioner know your preferences of having a chaperone.

    7) Facilities

    Free street parking is available outside the clinic. Please liaise with us before your first appointment should you have any special access requirements.

    8) Compliments & Complaints

    At Relive Physiotherapy, nothing is more important than our patients. If you are happy with the service you have received, please leave us a google review and share your experience with your family, friends, colleagues, and neighbours. We use your feedback to improve our service and continue to provide the best care and exceed your expectations.

    At Relive Physiotherapy, nothing is important than our patients. We take every measures carefully towards your wellbeing with your consent. All the information which is collected during your experience with Relive Physiotherapy Clinic is kept strictly confidential. We will not use or share your information with anyone.

    We may need to disclose certain information where required to do so by law. If you are accessing our service through private health care insurance, sometimes they ask for your authorisation to release our data collected about your health related issues for verification. In such cases, we would ask for your consent to authorise the insurance company to seek medical records from our clinic database. We would only release the information to your insurance company for which you have consented to.

    We follow the UK legislations to keep the medical records secure and we strive very hard to keep all the information safe and secure.

    You may use private health care insurance for your physiotherapy treatments. Relive Physiotherapy is recognised by all major private health care insurers.

    Health insurance customers must first register their details with our clinic (policy number, authorisation code for excess treatment (if needed) or treatment limitations). Your insurers will be billed directly following your treatment.

    Self Pay

    Relive Physiotherapy operate via a self-referral service. You don't need a referral from your GP or consultants to access physiotherapy treatment. Please just call us on 01244 630750 to book your appointment.
